Guardian Insurance Gets Rating Upgrade

June 6, 2009 – Guardian Insurance, the Virgin Islands largest automobile insurance carrier, announced that A.M. Best Co. has raised its financial strength rating to A- (Excellent) from B++ (Good), and its issuer credit rating to “a-“ from “bbb+”
In their official statement, A.M. Best Co. says, “These rating actions reflect Guardian Insurance’s favorable operating results, dominant automobile market share and their strong name recognition in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.”

A.M. Best Co.’s upgraded ratings serve as further evidence that Guardian is the premiere insurance provider in the Virgin Islands and among the best in the Caribbean.
