Lemuel International Ministries Concert Honors Hispanic Healthcare Professionals

The Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center will host Lemuel International Ministries Inc. for a free concert to honor the Hispanic community and healthcare professionals.
The Lemuel International Ministries Inc. is a non-profit interdenominational organization founded in 1987. To mark their 25th anniversary, the choir, comprised of people of all ages (15 years to retirees),from different counties (all the flags on the flyer are represented), professions (particularly health careworkers, emergency response and public safety professionals), will be providing a freeconcert at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center. According to Andres Rios, choir president, “the purpose of the concert is to provide a message of hope during these difficult economic times that all of us in the Caribbean islands are facing.”
The Ministries is dedicated to informing kids, teens and college students about family values, leadership and skills, as well as guiding them through a positive environment. The Coral Lemuel is the founder group. Currently extended to six active groups: Coral Costa Rica; kid choir (Lemuelito); Adoranza (teen dance group); PEOPLE Crew (College Students); Kenosis (community service professionals, name meaning to give and surrender all) and Voices Unidas (United Voices).
The concert is open to the public. The event is sponsored in part by the VIDOL/VI Division of Occupational Safety and Health to provide free OSHA publications in English and Spanish, IB Casa de Dios and JFL.
