Because customer service is a top priority for Banco Popular, the financial institution has announced that transactions made in its branches before 3 p.m. will now be processed the very same day. This change will facilitate its clients by reflecting their transactions the same day they are made.
“Our main focus is to provide our clients with effective and efficient banking services. Same day transactions definitely makes an impact on the way we operate, allowing us to improve customer service,” said Oran Bowry, senior vice president of operations and administration for Banco Popular’s Virgin Islands region.
In addition, this modifies certain hours of extended service. Banco Popular’s branches in Orange Grove, Sunshine Mall and Hibiscus Alley operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The Sunny Isles, Fort Mylner, Main Office Branch, Sugar Estate and Red Hook branches operate from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Drive-thru services are offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Orange Grove, Sunshine Mall, Fort Mylner, Main Office Branch and Sugar Estate from Monday to Thursday and until 6 p.m. on Friday.
Walk-up windows are available at Orange Grove from 4-5 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and until 6 p.m. on Friday; Sunny Isles from 7:45-8:30 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. and until 6 p.m. on Friday; and Red Hook from 8-8:30 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. and until 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
Sunny Isles, Fort Mylner and Main Office branch provide their services on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Tortola branch is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Its drive-thru service functions from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
