Shawn Alexis Henry died on Jan. 12. He was 34 years old.
He is the son of Dr. Claudius L. Henry and Annie Day Henry.
Left to cherish Shawn’s memories: godmothers: Cecilia Simmonds and Vilma Johnson; brothers: Claudius L. Henry II, MSN,NP-C, CCRN and Ferdinand Henry; sister-in-law, Robyn Kent Henry; nephew, Gabriel Theodore Henry; aunts: Barbara Day, Vernita Day Williams, Elizabeth Day Stevens, Lavina Day, Lorie Day, Eglantine Fergus James, Nicolasa Cruz, Sadie Peterson and Ava Harvey; uncles: Clinton James, Jasper Thomas Jr., Theodore Roosevelt Day III, Kermit Day, Shawn Day and Charles Peterson; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Altona Baptist Church, No. 20 Montpelier North Shore Road. There will not be a viewing. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Festive colors are requested. No flowers, please; donate to the St. Croix Independent Living Program. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
