The Government Employees’ Retirement System (GERS) invites its members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the GERS Office Training Room on St. Croix.
The objective of the workshop is to empower participants to take a more active role in developing a financial life-plan for themselves. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they will have an opportunity to:
• Assess where they are today
• Explore investment options
• Look at the impact of life events on their finances
• Develop an action plan
