V.I. Christian Women's Conference Set for Oct. 15-16

Oct. 4, 2004 – The V.I. Christian Women's Conference, slated for Oct. 15 and 16 at Holiday Inn Windward Passage Hotel, features speakers from abroad and here at home. The theme is "Women … Sowing Seeds of Love, Kindness and Forgiveness."
The conference opens at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15. On Saturday, a full-day session begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Lunch will be served. The advance registration fee is $35 and includes lunch and coffee breaks. Cost at the door is $40.
Persons wishing to stay at the Windward Passage for the conference should call the hotel at 774-5200 to receive the special $89 double-occupancy room rate.
Living Waters Ministries, based on Lake Worth, Fla., has been ministering in the Caribbean for 18 years. Featured speakers at the conference will include Dr. Yolanda Cambi and Melissa June Nicholas from Florida; pastors Judy and Steven Gates of Victory Temple Assembly of God Church in Jasper, Indiana; and Luz Kjeldsen McLaughlin, Living Waters founder. V.I. speakers and singers include pastor Sharon McDonald of Impacting Your World Christian Ministries, evangelist Carol McDonald and prophetess Sharon Amey of Faith Christian Fellowship Church Alive in Christ, evangelist Ann Lettsome, Fern Richards-LaBorde, Gloria Gumbs, Donna M. Phillips and Celia Carroll.
