May 27, 2004 – J. Antonio Jarvis Elementary School will be closed on Friday so that faculty, staff and students can attend a memorial service for Laura D. Moolenaar, who was principal of the school until last year.
Moolenaar died on May 18 after a long battle with cancer.
The memorial service is set for 10 a.m. at All Saints Cathedral.
