Oct. 28, 2003 – Gladys Lucia George, of Virgin Gorda and St. Thomas, died at Roy L. Schneider Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the age of 74.
George is survived by her husband, Onel George; two daughters, Karen George-Gillies, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Stephanie George, of Brooklyn, New York; three sons, Wilbur George, of Nashville, Tennessee, Alden and George Ruan, of St. Thomas; three sisters, Emma George, Eulaine Jones and Deenece Cromartie, of St. Thomas, and brothers, relatives and friends too numerous to name.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Church of God of Prophecy, and a viewing is scheduled for 10 a.m. that morning, also at the church.
