May 5, 2003 – Jam Band captured first place in the Road March competition and tied for second as well. Butterflies, pirates, hats, angels, bunnies and even "silence" were among the themes that found favor with the judges of this year's V.I. Carnival Adults' and Children's Parades.
The prize winners in "Music, Mas and Pageantry for Carnival 2003" were announced Monday by the V.I. Carnival Committee. They are:
