The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas will hold a warehouse sale of used furniture, household goods and art on Sunday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bovoni Center.
Among the items for sale:
* Two large pine wardrobes made in St. Thomas.
* A double bed with a mahogany frame and a like-new mattress, plus two rollaway beds.
* Outdoor tables, chairs and a bench.
* Desks, bookcases and other home office equipment.
* Several Danish Modern teak pieces.
* Framed horseracing and jazz posters.
* Christmas lights and decorations.
* Gardening tools and pots.
* Exercise equipment.
* Kitchen gadgets.
Most of the furniture is from the estate of Lillian Hoepfner Langford. Other items from the Langford estate will be in next year's Antiques, Art & Collectibles Auction.
"We are grateful to have gotten so many wonderful donations of usable furniture and other items from our friends and congregants," said Katina Coulianos, the congregation's president. "Sunday's sale will be a great opportunity for people in the community to take home some terrific bargains."
Proceeds from the sale will help to maintain the 170-year-old Synagogue building, a National Historic Landmark.
