EDUCATION OFFERS SUMMER SCHOOL FOR FEE

June 9, 2002 – The Education Dept. announces a schedule of paid summer school sessions for students.
For the eighth consecutive year the sessions are being offered at the John Woodson Junior High School on St. Croix. Classes are offered in English, social studies, science, math, and computer technology.
Registration will be held June 10-14, 18 and 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodson School. Classes begin June 17 and end July 16, and will be held daily from 8:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.
Classes will also be offered at the Educational Complex High School for grades 9-12. Classes offered include English, math, science, social studies, physical education, foreign language and business.
Registration for Complex will be from Tuesday, June 11, through Monday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fees for both programs are $125 for one class and $225 for two classes. A maximum of two classes may be taken. A non-refundable registration fee of $25 is also required.
