SIBILLY'S TAISHA HUSBANDS PRIMARY SPELLING CHAMP

April 18, 2002 – The primary spelling bee champion for the St. Thomas-St. John District is Taisha Husbands of Joseph Sibilly Elementary School. The bee, coordinated by April Phillips, took place on April 4, 2002.
The St. Croix District did not have a bee, and there will be no further primary competition. It is treated as a warm-up for when the children reach the next level.
Runners-up are: 1st, Sheran Xavier, Calvary Christian Academy; 2nd, Shaulia Todman, All Saints Cathedral School; 3rd, Deveron Leonard, New Testament Academy, 4th, Byron Todman, Seventh Day Adventist School; and 5th, Lakeisha Wade=Malone, J. Antonio Jarvis Elementary School.
