Nov 16, 2005 – Politecnica's men's tennis team and the ladies from UPR-Carolina dominated the 2005 Organization of Inter-University Sports tennis championships hosted by University of the Virgin Islands at the Buccaneer on St.Croix this past weekend. Establishing themselves as the teams to beat after three qualifying round-robin tournaments held in Puerto Rico earlier in the fall, the singles and doubles teams from Politecnica and UPR-Carolina continued to outplay their opponents in the championship round.
