Jan. 16, 2002 – The next event on the V.I. Pace schedule is the annual Toast-To-The-Captain 8.4-mile Road Race on Feb. 9 at 6 a.m. in Christiansted.
The Black History Month event honors Captain Teddy Seymour of St. Croix, the first black man to sail around the world alone, a release said.
