Aug. 22, 2001 — Street lighting, roadsides, land erosion and drainage will be the focus of town meetings to be held next week by Sen. Emmett Hansen II.
The meetings will be held in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Public Works and Department of Planning and Natural Resources. Presentations will be made by the EPA’s Jim Casey, DPW’s Commissioner Wayne Callwood, and Sonya Nelthropp and DPNR’s Leonard Reed.
The meeting will be held on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. in St. Gerard’s Hall in Frederiksted and Aug. 29 at the American Legion Post in Christiansted at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Hansen’s office at 712-2210.
