Tickets are now on sale for Antilles School's "April in Paris," this year's dinner and auction fund-raiser to be held at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort on April 21.
This time, Antilles has thrown in a $100 a ticket raffle for a week at the Hotel St. Jacques in Paris, France, including roundtrip airfare on American Airlines. Those tickets can be purchased now or on the night of the auction.
According to Development Director Joan Amerling, the Paris raffle complements the many travel packages that are offered as part of the silent and live auctions, including ski packages, a week in New Orleans, a California wine country package and more. Also included among the more than 400 auction items are restaurant gift certificates, original art, jewelry and home decorations.
Last year's event raised more than $150,000 for the school, whose financial aid budget outstrips that of the typical private school, Amerling said, and helps Antilles maintain a diverse student body. Naturally, the school is hoping to surpass that amount this year.
Tickets for the dinner and auction are $100 per person. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a champagne reception; black tie is optional.
