0

Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has proclaimed this Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month in the Virgin Islands, recognizing the jump in alchohol-related traffic fatalities during the holiday season.
According to a statement from Government House, groups from every U.S. state and territory are joining together to support policies aimed at curbing impaired driving.
"The Virgin Islands Office of Highway Safety is a partner in the nation's effort to make our roads and streets safer," Turnbull said in the statement. He urged everyone to promote awareness of this lethal problem.
