The $1.2 million scenic overlook on Valdemar A. Hill Sr. Drive will be dedicated at 10 a.m. Friday, according to a statement from Government House.
The new overlook has 12 parking spaces, an area reserved for the disabled, public restrooms, benches and landscaping. It was designed by Alton A. Adams Jr. & Associates and built by Apex Construction Co., Inc.
Funds for the overlook came from the Federal Highway Administration.
