Brenda Boone, longtime general manager for American Airlines on St. Thomas, has been appointed to a new position with the company in Miami.
Her successor on St. Thomas is Ernesto Quigley II, a 13-year American employee who most recently was customer service manager for the airline's San Juan hub.
Quigley, who is fluent in Spanish, English and French, worked his way up from ticketing agent with American.
