WAPA BILLS TO INCREASE

0

On August 13 the Public Service Commission approved a request from the Water and Power Authority to increase billings. The increase will show up in September's bills.
Residential bills will increase by about $10 a month for electric bills and $2 more for potable water.
The increase is the result of the semi-annual LEAP (Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause) that represents the cost of oil to WAPA, that is passed on to customers.
