St. Thomas's second annual Heineken Summer Beach Party will be held Sunday, Aug. 15, at Sapphire Beach from 2 to 6 p.m. Westline Productions will provide music, radio stations KISS and JAMZ will broadcast live from the site, and there will be product giveaways all afternoon.
Susan Warren-Ervin, marketing director of Bellows International, which distributes Heineken locally, promised lots of "entertainment and instant prizes."
There'll be a beach trivia contest for which the top prize is a vacation for two in Aruba and second prize is a vacation for two in Sint Maarten. Everyone who enters will be a winner — of a product T-shirt or hat, if nothing else.
A similar party last Sunday on St. Croix attracted more than 600 people to Rainbow Beach, a publicity release stated.
