The Department of Education annouces the school personnel schedules for summer vacation and the reporting dates for the new school year in August.
Elementary/Junior High:
June 11 – Teachers, registrars, attendance counselors, diagnosticians, psychologists, school nurses and kitchen managers.
June 14 – Guidance counselors and paraprofessionals.
June 15 – Principals, assistant principals, coordinators, kitchen workers and bus drivers.
June 22 – Secretarial/Clerical staff.
High School:
June 15 – Principals, assistant principals, coordinators, teachers, registrars, attendance counselors, diagnosticians, psychologists, kitchen managers, school nurses and bus drivers.
June 17 – Guidance counselors and paraprofessionals.
June 22 – Kitchen workers.
June 28 – Secretarial and clerical staff.
Reporting dates for school calendar year 1999-2000: All schools in the territory will have the same reporting dates for the following personnel:
August 11 – Secretarial/clerical personnel.
August 18 – Principals, assistant principals, coordinators, kitchen workers and bus drivers.
August 19 – Guidance counselors, paraprofessionals.
August 20 – New teachers.
August 23 – Returning teachers, registrars, attendance counselors, diagnosticians, psychologist, school nurses and kitchen managers.
