A conference to facilitate preparations of RFP packages will be held on Thursday May 20, at the Department of Labor's conference room.
The V.I. Department of Labor is accepting proposals for training under the Job Training Partnership Act program. Funds are available under Titles llA(Adult) and lll(Dislocated Workers).
Areas of training being solicited include, but are not limited to: clerical, culinary, bookkeeping, wait staff, computer programming, instrument technicians, night auditors, landscaping, marine industry, maintenance repairs, and construction trades.
Individuals or businesses interested in submitting training proposals may pick up a proposal application package from the Department of Labor at 53A&B Kronprindsens Gade. The packages will be received until 4 p.m. June 11.
