Mark Bastin, former general manager of WIVI 96 ROCK and most recently marketing director of West Indies Corp., has been named the new general manager and general sales manager of Knight Quality Stations.
He will replace Melissa Green as general sales manager. Green has held the position since the start-up of the new station after Hurricane Marilyn. Green is leaving the island.
Bastin said he welcomed the opportunity to work with Knight Stations, "The growth curve for the three Knight Quality Stations has been phenomenal. I eagerly look forward to building on the Knight Quality Station's commitment to local listeners, advertisers and community organizations."
Bastin will serve as the manager of all three Knight stations; WVJZ 105, WVWI AM 1000, and WWKS KISS 101.3 FM
He will start March 29.
