Harold G. Thompson Jr., acting Public Works commissioner, announces that the department will host a series of workshops for its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program on Saturday, March 27, at the Magens Point Hotel from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
The first workskhop highlights the national refocusing of the DBE Program, changes in federal regulations, opportunities and services of the DBE Program, and upcoming Federal Highway Projects.
Registration is free and will be limited to the first 50 participants.
