Claudette Farrington, acting director of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), reminds all residents of the Virgin Islands that they must file their income tax returns with the V.I. Bureau.
The income tax is considered properly filed on the date that the Bureau receives it. Failure to properly file with the Bureau will delay the processing.
Virgin Islands residents who have erroneously filed income tax returns with the IRS should contact Mrs. Luz Moron at 774-5865, ext. 2240.
