July 27, 2005 Public Works will be repairing an area of Valdemar A. Hill Drive, also known as Skyline Drive, on Thursday. Motorists are cautioned to slow down and watch for flagmen.
The area being repaired is in front of the huge, newly constructed yellow house on the south side of the road — about a half mile from the Louisenhoj castle intersection.
Steel plates have covered the hole for a month or so.
A release from acting Public Works Commissioner George Phillips said, "Motorists are asked to reduce speed upon approach of the posted signs in both directions and to pay close attention to the persons directing traffic flow."
