July 26, 2005 – The Government Employees Retirement System wishes to inform all its members and retirees that loan applications will not be processed from Aug. 17 to Sept. 30. This temporary suspension is necessary to allow for the closing of accounts for fiscal year 2005.
Processing of loan applications will resume on Monday, Oct. 3.
Until Aug. 17, loan applications will be accepted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All applicants are reminded that they must bring a valid picture I.D. and their last two consecutive check stubs with them.
