WWOZ New Orleans Will Come to August Sunset Jazz
WWOZ-New Orleans, the official radio station of the Jazz & Heritage Foundation, will join Sunny 99.5FM-WVIQ for the August Sunset Jazz events and transmit them "live" back to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, and simultaneously live stream them onto the World Wide Web. An impressive roster of performers will include some of the finest jazz musicians in the Caribbean.
Harbor Night, St. Croix' favorite street party, will held in conjunction with Sunset Jazz at 6 p.m., on Friday, Aug.17.
Sunset Jazz in Frederiksted concerts are free and will be going until for this special event. Concertgoers are reminded to bring along folding chairs or blankets, as seating is at a minimum.
