The African-Caribbean Reparations and Resettlement Alliance (ACRRA) invites the public to the release of the new anthem of the United States Virgin Islands reparations movement, "We Want Reparations." The event will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 8, at Riddims Music Store, Christiansted.
The anthem is performed by recording artists Batch, Niyorah and Danny I. Speakers will be Laurent "Tippy I" Alfred of Riddims Music and I Grade Records, and Shelley Moorhead of ACRRA, who will share a new development in the U.S.V.I. Reparations Movement proposed to result in international awareness, community education and activism in the territory.
