Feb. 12, 2008 – Daisy Vanterpool died on Feb. 9, at age 84.
She was survived by her sons: Othniel, Irad Sr., Noel and Leslie Vanterpool, and Kenneth Benjamin; daughters: Muriel Durant, Lyra Alvarez, Hilda Cline, Zulah Hodge, Rita Greenel, and Ivennia, Mercedes and Ruby Vanterpool; 62 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Eunice Williams, Rosalie Sibilly, Iris Scatlifffe and Mavis Samuel; brothers: Walter, Harold and Luther Williams; aunt, Caroline Callwood; special friend, Irene Hamilton; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerours to mention.
