Feb. 5, 2008 – Daisy Maria Alejandro Surin, also known as "Ma" or "Auntie," of Estate Mon Bijou died on Jan. 27, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 58 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Juaquina Deleon; stepfather, Valentin Deleon; daughters, Florde Rexach and Maria Figueroa; son, Luis Ballantine; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Lila Alejandro, Norma Acosta, Nilsa Solis, Luz Maldonado, Wanda Rosario, and Liz Yolanda Deleon; brothers: Oscar Lebron, Angel Alejandro, Pedro Alejandro Jr. and Pedro Jose Santiago; special friends; Norma, Yolanda, Ramona Cruz, Cheri and Steve Jack; special cousin: Laura Clark; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Iglesia De Dios Inc., 156 Estate Profit. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
