Oct. 24, 2007 – The performance of the Dzul Dance Company at the Reichhold on Nov. 2 marks the 40th Forum presentation.
"Our goal," said Neil Prior, chairman of the Forum, "is to bring people and events which otherwise would not come here. Dzul is the perfect example of an experience that will be new to St. Thomas. They dance, they take to the air."
Over the eleven years of its existence, the Forum has brought speakers like Elie Wiesel and Maya Angelou; singers Denyce Graves and Harolyn Blackwell, the Oakland Ballet, actress Anna Deveare Smith, seven Film Festivals, four performances from the Casals Festival and seven visits by the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra. "This year we're starting a full Forum season with Dzul Dance Company, followed by the PRSO, scientist Owen Gingerich, the Mozart Piano Quartet, International Court of Hague, Judge Navanethem (Navi) Pillay, Broadway award-winner David Beaty and the Film Festival," said Prior.
