April 14, 2007 — Cecelia Verilia Caesar, 59, better known as “CeCe," “Sexy Mama," “Mama” or “Ma,” died Tuesday in Atlanta, Ga.
She is survived by her husband, Benedict Caesar Sr.; her mother, Lita Simon; daughters Joan, Maria, Glenda, Genice and Shauna; sons Glen and Benedict Jr.; sisters Bebiana, Dora, Justina, Vavalyne, Vania, Gloria and Caesarina; brother Terrence Simon; uncles Angelo, Gana, Williamson and Dayton; aunts Arlene, Evelyn, Ursula and Maisie; sons-in-law Alphonous, Mark, Francise and Marlon; daughters-in-law Mariel and Latisha; grandchildren DeShurn, ShaKeem, Oliver, Devon, Eva, Jenique, Genae, Dale, Markel, Omar, Kenietta, Willie, Letisha, Malachi, Ishem, Brian, Jomo, Eric, Justin, Francis, Frankie and Frank; cousins Alban, Elston, Eustace and Yoland; special friend Clement Greene; and many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Monday, April 23, at the Holy Family Catholic Church. The funeral will follow at 9 a.m., with interment at Eastern Cemetery.
