April 3, 2007 — Sen. Shawn-Michael Malone will be out of the territory for two weeks undergoing corrective surgery for a broken arm.
“Last week, I suffered a severe fracture to my left arm which, unfortunately, has damaged tissue. Therefore, I have to travel to Philadelphia to undergo emergency specialized surgery,” said Malone in a release from his office.
He said his staff will be keeping regular office hours in his absence.
He will be gone until April 14.
