I am Larry Sewer, Certified Herbalist and owner of the Strictly Local Company "Jewel of the Isles". There is a true saying, "Great Minds Think and do similar things." I commmend Ms. Gordon on her efforts as well as her wisdom to utilize our natural products. As an Herbalist, I too am in dismay when I see the blatent abuse and disregard for not only our medicinal plants but the mockery made towards our perservation efforts. As a result, as like her, I also preserve many of our plants and shrubs soon to disappear in my yard. My area space is now called a laboratory rather than a garden.
Again I commend Ms Gordon. As a Delegate to the 5th Constitution, and an expert in reconizing our Medicinal Plants and Shrubs, I was able to have such preservation measures incerted into our Draft version of our Constitution.
I urge all who call the Virgin Islands their home to appreciate the essence which has made our homeland a Paradise.
