Jan. 8, 2009 – The American Advertising Federation, U.S. Virgin Islands (the Ad Club) will hold another Professional Series Lunch at 11:45 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 16, at Room with a View. This one will be on the newspaper business and features Jason Robbins, who is the publisher of our VI Daily News.
The title of Robbins' talk is "If the Door Shuts, Cut Through It." We all know about the downturn in the economy. Jason is going to talk about ways of getting your message out – cutting through the door. He will focus on newspaper and print, and talk about the plans of the Daily News and its new owners, Times Shamrock, and what they plan to do.
