March 31, 2009 – John Augustas Baptiste of Estate Mon Bijou died on March 24. He was 67 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadine John Baptiste; sons: Fred John Baptiste, John H. Baptiste, Larry Johnbaptiste Sr. and Kirby Johnbaptiste; daughters: Beverly Johnbaptiste-Williams, Althea Johnbaptiste and Claudia Berry; mother, Etta George; grandchildren: Kevin Jackson, Pamela and Kazia Fanhan, and Larissa, Jelissa, Mehna, Mewza, Makkonen, Malaika, Shakida, Tyrone, Brittany, Tiffany, Whittany, Larry Jr., Keshawn, Jamal, Briana, Breon, Kyandre, Makkai and Alicea Johnbaptiste; and great-grandchildren: Kahmi Richardson and Yazmine Jackson. He is also survived by special friends: Pearl Lescott, Linda Sweeney, Eileen Joseph, Gertrude Roberts, Pastor Maurice Andrews and family, and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Sunday, April 5, at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
