March 23, 2009 – We Grow Food Inc. will hold its Last Sunday Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 29, at the Bordeaux Farmers Market.
It will celebrate Virgin Islands History Month, International Black Women's Month and the Ethiopia Battle Adwa Victory.
The event will feature oral presentations by Dr. Gene Emanuel – V.I. History and
Dr. Chenzira Kahina – Women's Wellness Body, Mind and Spirit; a video presentation of the Battle of Adwa; the Youth Activity Center; the Book Mobile Library; vegan cuisine and live food; cultural arts and crafts; and organic produce.
