March 17, 2009 – The Virgin Islands Humanities Council offers a sampling of resources available to schools and the community in honor of V.I. History Month. Antonio Jarvis, biographical profiles by Ruth Moolenaar, a copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, an article on women's role in the 1733 Revolt, book excerpts from Harold Willocks, musical scores by Bill La Motta, as well as articles edited by George Tyson and Arnold Highfield.
