May 1, 2009 – Antonio Monell, also known as "Junie," died on April 28. He was 62 yeas old.
He is survived by his mother, Eugenia Monell; sisters: Carmen Monell-Gomez, Juanita Monell-Poblete and Marianella Monell; brother-in-law, Dr. Jose Poblete. He is also survived by nieces: Aurora, Maria Isabelle, and Marizelle Poblete, Graciela and Mary Soto, and Erika Gomez; nephew, Luis Gomez; aunt, Manuela Faria; uncle, Adolfo Morales; special friends: Tito Santiago, Armando and Amelia, Yolanda Velez and Gloria Barreto; and many other relative and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 5, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
