Brief: Magens Bay Head Refuses Comment on Friday's Agenda

While the Magens Bay Authority board is scheduled to meet this Friday, board chair Aubrey Nelthropp refused comment Wednesday when asked whether board members would be discussing a proposed eco-park and canopy zip-wire tour at Magens Bay Beach.
The board meeting, originally scheduled for Nov. 27, was postponed following Source reports of a proposal by local businessman Michael Ball to construct an eco-park which would include guided hikes on The Nature Conservancy trail and the aforementioned zip-wire tour.
The canopy tour would reportedly begin on Ball’s family property off of Magens Bay Road and traverse down 600 ft. to a landing site next to the Alphonso Nelthropp Arboretum at Magens Bay beach.
Friday’s meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. in shed #4.
