Josephine Elizabeth Ryan, also known as “Beth,” of Cumberland Street, Fayetteville, N.C., died on Sunday, Dec. 6. She was 78 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Joycelyn Ryan and Debra Ryan-Heard; her special girls: Tanya Morris and LeeAnn Morris-Pliske; grandchildren: Kareem Phillip and Dominic Ryan; great-grandchild, Jahni Phillip; son-in-law, Anthony Heard; sister, Christine Williams; and brothers: Wilfred White, Joseph Morson and Bazil Murrain. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Jean Murrain, nieces: Marilyn and Inez Morson; nephew, Patric Premdas Sr.; great nephew, Patric Premdas Jr.; aunt, Margret Greer; special friends: Peggy and Lee Morris, Dorothy Browne, Lynette Brown, Miss Marcy, Ms. Sweeney, Miss Williams, Sister Abraham, Sister Murray, Ms. Joseph, Sister Thomas, Brother B, Leona Gopaul and Ms. Jackson; cousins and other relatives: Everette Ryan, Iris, Hazel, Ceres, Florence, Vera, Sylvia, George and Bill Greer, Simon Hodge, Jane Meade, Elizabet Cinty Meade and Christina Simon; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, at the Frederiksted Assembly of God. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
