Anna Emelda Drummond Brewster, also known as “Ann Emelda Brewster,” of J.F. Kennedy died on Dec. 6. She was 82 years old.
She is survived by her granddaughter/caregiver, Anna E. Brewster; daughters: Sherrill E. Richardson and Gwendolyn Brewster; sons: James O. Jr., Maxwell, Curtis and Kenneth Brewster, and Alfred Gardner; 37 grandchildren, including Earl Braffith; 45 great grandchildren, including Dinah-Lee and Diniqua Brewster; and four great-great grandchildren, including Elroy W. Brewster III. She is also survived by son-in-law, Mario Richardson; sister, Viola Drummond Henry; brother, Ignatius Bastian; 28 nieces, including Bodil D. Pool, Merlene B. Felicien and Magnolia Paul; 20 nephews; 25 great nieces; 20 great nephews; special friends: Edith Camacho, Leova Harris, Steve Parris, Margaret Durant, Heatherlina Destouche, Laverne E. Robles, Joseph Graham and family, the Brady family, Ellis Otto and Josie Moorehead; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec.15, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
