Bobzie Alexander Ford, also known as “Ford,” of Hannah’s Rest died on Dec. 12, at the Riverside Regional Hospital in Newport News, Virginia. He was 69 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalin Petersen Ford; daughter, Deserie Ford; sons: Arthur Ford Sr., Trevor Ford and Vivian Ford; grandchildren: Arthur Jr., Adonna and Arthur Ford, Shakiel, Amik, Andreas, Amaya and Aliesha James, Trevor Jr. and Vivian Ford, Safia Marin and Samara Lammy. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Kenyatta Ford and Lesha Ford; sister, Rosemary Edwards; brother, Westerby Ford; aunts: Geradine Payne, Jestina Henry and Ruth Ford; uncle, Rupert Romeo; close cousins: Mavis, Irvin, Ineta, Laurel, Elma, Elaine, Berchelle and Priscilla; sisters-in-law: Juliet Ford, Myrtle Court, Mildred Corlette Bellamy-Pilgrim, Mabel Melchoir and Noeleen Christian; brother-in-law, Laurtiz Petersen Jr.; nieces and nephews: Shirley, Sharmaine, Shawn, Kimberly, Cory, Casey, Carolyn, Glen and Alvin; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fredericksted, with viewing at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
