Brief: Government Offices, Banks, Innovative Announce Holiday Closures

Local businesses and government agencies are shutting down for the holidays and annual festival celebrations. The following is a partial list of notable closures.
V.I. Superior Court offices will shut down at noon Thursday and will reopen on Monday. The court will shut down again at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 30 and Thursday, Dec. 31 and will be closed all day on Jan. 1.
All matters and advice of rights hearings already on the calendar will be heard as scheduled, according to a release from the court.
On St. Thomas-St. John, all filings — including those for the Magistrate Division — can be deposited into a secured lock box on the first floor of the Alexander A. Farrelly Justice Complex from Dec. 24 to Dec. 31. On St. Croix, all filings can be deposited into a secured lock box at the first floor entrance of the R.H. Amphlett Leader Justice Complex on Dec. 24, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.
Legislative offices will be closed Thursday, Friday and Jan. 1.
Innovative business offices on all three islands will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Monday, with normal business hours resuming on Tuesday, Dec. 29. Offices will shut down again from Friday, Jan. 1 through Monday Jan. 4, and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
