Glen Orlando Williams Sr. Dead at 77

Glen Orlando Williams Sr. Glen Orlando Williams Sr. of Estate Grove Place died on Dec. 20, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 77 years old.

He is survived by hiswife,Evelyn Williams;children:Patricia Williams, Merissa Williams, Letitia Hurley, Ophelia Nemmy Jackson, Bridgette Williams, Galen Williams and Natasha Williams-Modeste; brothers and sister:James John Corn Williams, Lunsford Williams, Hildalgo Williams and Una Williams-Horton; grandchildren: Harold Francis, Trisha Williams, Taahira Walker-Anderson,Shariyfa Walker, Keba Eyan Petrus, Takisha Hurley-Ventura, Tamara Hurley, Tamisha Hurley, Natalia Felix, Rafael KJ Jackson III, Keisha Lloyd, Akeem Alfred, Melika Alfred, Glen Williams III , Thalema Williams Collin Williams, Tayesha Williams, Shakuille Jahdani Williams, Mystica Williams, Sarah Williams, Nyah Williams and Valence Dante Modeste; and great-grandchildren: K’Mani Ventura, Taaliyah Prevost, Quianna Ventura, T’Naiah Rawlins,KeAndre Parris, Ja’dyn Treasure and Francisco Navarro Jr. He is also survived by in-laws: Gwendolyn Burke, Thelma Battiste, Ecilma Trent, Peter Trent, Valdemar Jackson, Merle McWatt, Valence Modeste, Rafael Jackson Jr., Judy Williams, Keba Petrus and Glenn Krieger; special godchildren: Trisha Byron, Desiree Byron, Patricia Mable Lynch, Charles Haynes,Earl Charles Jr. and Dr. Glenwood Charles; andspecial cousins: Adelbert Bryan, Euclid and Marilyn Lynch. He is also survived by special friends: Earl and Phyllis Charles, George Lawrence, Glenworth and Idona Byron,Alfred Roach, Indolecia Matthews and children, Etla Williams, Jose Morales, Jerome Dickinson Alfredo Hodge, Ralston Joseph, Raymond Brow, Inez Williams and family, Ignatious Goodridge, Lorna Davis, Alma King,Olive Barnes,Carita Stevens, Eris Walker, Delacy Sexius, Terry Acoy, Julio Petersen , Renaldo Rose, Fr. and Mrs. Abott, Pastor Davis and the St. Luke family. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews to include Lloyd Richards, Larry, Glen, Delores and Helen Miller, Dwayne Christian, Sandra Pemberton, Courine Stout, Meral Williams, Bernadette Williams, Roy Williams, Neil Miller, Janice Benjamin, Carol Ashton and Arlene Rawlins; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at St. Luke’s A.M.E. Church. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery Veteran Section.
