Doris Foye, also known as “Tanty,” of East Street, Christiansted, died on Dec. 16. She was 90 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Ursula Joseph; grandchildren: Joil Lynch, Stefon and Dwight Otto; stepdaughter, June Vanterpool; step-grandchildren: Ruthlyn Baltimore, Rhonda and Denise Vanterpool; sister, Adina Ward; and brother-in-law, Eric Roberts. She is also survived by niece, Patricia Roberts; great nephew, Eric Hall; special friends: Ruth Boston, Noami Simpson, Marilyn Hodge, Esther Thomas, Onna Orr, Garfield Claxton and Cynthia Joseph; cousin, Viola Plake; and other friends and family too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, at the A.M.E. Bethel Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
