Moilon R. Allen also known as "Bardy," of Peter’s Rest died on Sept. 6, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 61 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Martha Allen; daughters: Catherine Allen and Melanie Allen; stepdaughter, Martha Beatrice Diaz; sons: O’Neal Allen, Emile Allen, Roan Allen and Myron Allen; stepson: Melvin Diaz; and grandchildren: Jamal Julien, Sa’myra Allen and Chaun Williams Jr. He is also survived by sisters: Loretta Allen Chalwell, Joyce Allen-Ferguson, Rosetta Allen-Lane, Gloria Allen-Joseph, Deloris Allen-Copemann, Isolina Allen-Harrison and Louise Allen; brothers: Orendo Allen, Ernest Allen and Raphael Allen; brothers-in-law: Dimitri Copemann, Rolston Joseph and Wayne Harrison; sister-in-law, Marcellina Allen; special friends: Bienbenido Carrasco, John Matarangas, Freddy Thurland, Edward Stevens and Wilbur Abramson; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at the James Memorial Funeral Home Inc. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
