Shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, staff temporarily evacuated the Frits E. Lawaetz Legislative Complex after receiving a bomb threat, according to a statement from the V.I. Senate public affairs office. The V.I. Police Department responded quickly to the call, and shortly thereafter went through the building with the staff of the Legislature. Afterwards, police issued an “all clear” notice and staff returned to work with very little disruption, according to the public affairs office.
